Our Club
The local for everyone
Anglesea Bowling Club sits at 15 Cameron Road, a short walk from the river and the beach. We run barefoot bowls on Friday and Saturday evenings, social bowls three days a week, and pennant through the season for members who want to compete.
The clubhouse is the only north-facing venue in Anglesea, and everyone from first-time bowlers to long-time members gets the same welcome. Kids are welcome too.

Our Story
From a small shed to today’s clubhouse
Anglesea Bowling Club was founded over sixty years ago with a small shed as its original building. Our current clubhouse opened in 2017, the green was upgraded not long after, and with new memberships on the rise the club is on the move.
We honour the people who were instrumental in the creation, growth and maintenance of the club, and we keep building on what they started.
The Surf Coast Plays Here
Roll up barefoot on a Friday night, join the regulars on a Monday afternoon, or book the whole clubhouse for your next do.
Social Bowls
Organised bowls for members, learners and affiliated members. Monday and Saturday from 12.30pm, and Scroungers on Friday from 3pm. $5 a game.
Functions
Hire the clubhouse for your next do, with a kitchen, BBQ facilities and sunset views over the green.
Membership
Social, limited and full memberships from $50 a year, with green fees of just $5, discounted drinks and member prices on merchandise.

Our club is perfect for functions of all types. Include barefoot bowls as part of your event or hire the clubhouse as a function space on its own, with a kitchen and BBQ facilities and the cheapest drinks on the coast behind the bar.
Great accommodation sits within walking distance, including the Great Ocean Road Resort, the Riverside Motel and two caravan parks.
A Club for the Whole Coast
With 36 local sponsors, three social sessions a week and some of the lowest green fees going, Anglesea Bowling Club is built by its community. You will find us at 15 Cameron Road, just off the Great Ocean Road between Torquay and Lorne.

For Monday or Saturday social bowls, call and leave your name and number before 11am on the day. On Fridays, simply arrive at the club before 3pm to join in.
